It's a brand new day...

I am not even going to attempt to give a detailed account of what has happened over the past months...it's just not going to happen. A quick synopsis is that I finished my first year of teaching 1st grade and loved it, then did not get rehired by said principal...not going to touch that subject today.

Tonight I created a weekly "workout planner" so that I can choose different activities for each day of the week so that I can get back on track with Weight Watchers. I am so determined to loose weight before Katie's wedding in October...My workout planner for this week will be as follows...
Monday (today, technically I mowed the yard...) I created it so, nothing.
Tuesday- Walk on our treadmill
Wednesday- Rest
Thursday- Walk on our treadmill
Friday- Weights while I watch TV
Saturday- DVD workout
Sunday- Rest

My goal is to do each of these activities for at least 30 minutes a day but hopefully after a while I hope to increase the duration for each.

Snow Day

So we are having snow day number 345609 today. This week we have only been to school on Monday, and we got out early and I didn't teach anything after 9:55 so I don't really count that day...Jackson got more snow and ice yesterday and everything that was on the roads yesterday froze last night. The temps today aren't supposed to get above freezing so there's a chance that we won't go tomorrow...we'll see.

7.8

7.8.
You may wonder what this number means...it could mean a whole bunch of things but to me it means something VERY important....

7.8 is the number of pounds that I LOST during my 1st official week of Weight Watchers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

W.W. Week 2

Today starts week 2 of my Weight Watchers journey...
Drew and I talked for a long time about what we were going to do about our health. I have been so tired and worn out lately and my clothes weren't fitting and I have to admit, I have gained almost 30 lbs since the wedding...When my dress pants (for school) weren't fitting I had enought!

My mom did WW a while back and did WONDERFUL on the program they had at the time so Drew and I did our research and decided the Points Plus program was for us! Mom agreed to help us with the money part of it and we agreed to do our part.

We signed up on-line and got the monthly pass-where we pay 1 time a month, get all the on-line stuff, and unlimited meetings. We went last Monday to register and weigh in.

My starting weight was *cough* 177.2. This weight gain earned me 29 points a day. I get 29 points a day, plus 49 *free* points to use over the week, however I would like to use them. Things like jello and bananas are 0 points and all other fruits are free (0 points) and most veggies are 0, but not all. I can drink all the diet drinks I want, but I have tried to drink more water, and this week I did pretty well with the whole water thing!

I am going to go weigh in and stay for the meeting today so I will be see able if I did anything this week! I am hoping that I am able to really achieve some positive, healthy living changes with this journey. If you think, shoot up a prayer for Drew and I, even though I have done really well this week, it's a hard change to make!
