Dive into 1st Grade!

So I know that I didn't keep my last promise about keeping the blog updated but so far this year is SOOO much smoother than last year. So my goal is to keep this updated, and update at least once a day! I will begin with just some pictures from my classroom.

These were taken right before school started and now I have a different seating arrangement, more students, and words on the word wall...and we're working on our 5th week of school while some schools are just starting...

The view from the front of my room looking towards the back door. The things on the floor are lillypads. The kids line up on these and they have helped make our lines very straight and nice looking!

My classroom library. Dive into a good book! The kids love to sit on the couch and I have 2 bean bags over there too.

The view from my door looking into my room. The front board area and carpet is where we have morning meeting and it's also where I do a lot of whole group instruction.
